We are in the process of relocating to larger premises.

Welcome to the Speyside Horn Shop - a
small family-run centre for traditional horn craft in the Scottish
Highlands. |
 |
 |
Here, close to the shores of Loch
Alvie in Inverness-shire, we carry on our trade as horncarvers
producing handmade pieces from , amongst others, bone, stag's
antler, cow's horn and ram's horn as well as a whole range of other
less 'local' horns including buffalo
horn. |
| In our workshops our craftsmen use the
same methods that have been practised for centuries. Today, sadly,
we are one of Scotland's few remaining hornware manufacturers. In
Scotland the work used to be carried out by tinkers -sometimes
called 'travelling people' and it is very much their tradition we
seek to follow. |
